DIU (Data Import Utility)
Overview
The Tabs CMMS & CAFM DIU (Data Import Utility) module provides a powerful and flexible tool for importing data into the Tabs CMMS & CAFM system from external sources. The DIU enables system administrators to bulk import a wide range of data types including assets, locations, PPM schedules, stock records and more, using simple Excel spreadsheet templates.
The DIU is particularly useful during system implementation, enabling organisations to quickly populate the system with existing data from legacy systems or spreadsheets. The module also supports ongoing data imports for organisations that receive data feeds from external systems.
